Hello everyone. Just got stationed at Fort sill as a Marine instructor. Interested in reloading and looking to start participating in competitions for pistol, maybe 3 gun and eventually long range.

Thanks,
Paul

It looks like you are in luck, Duncan SCRAP has steel challenge on Saturday & a USPSA match on Sunday this coming up weekend. They are both fun to shoot & if it is your first time you shoot for free.
Welcome

Welcome
Thanks for the shout out Corey, but I'd better clarify: SCRAP stands for Stephens County Rifle and Pistol club. We're located a few mile east of Duncan, OK.

We shoot Steel Challenge on the 2nd Saturday of each month. Match starts at 10:00am so you need to be there a little earlier than that to sign in.

We shoot USPSA/IPSC match every 3rd Sunday of each month. Again match begins at 10:00am, sign-in at 9:30am. And yes, the first time you shoot a pistol match with us, you shoot the match for free. We also host NRA High Power Matches on the 2nd Sunday of each month and an "As Issued, Military Bolt Action Rifle" match on the third Saturday of each month. You can get directions and more info from our web page at OKSCRAPCLUB.org

It does just so happen that this month, our Steel Challenge and our USPSA match fall on the same weekend so they are back to back, but it will be the 14th and 15th, not next weekend.

We'd love to have you come shoot with us and you don't have to be a member to shoot in any of the competitions.

Thanks for your service!

Welcome to the party. Don't hesitate to start competing. It's a lot of fun and it will make you a better shooter no matter your skill level.
