Hey Everyone,

I'm Ben - I grew up in Ohio and have been shooting basically all my life, but for the past few years I've been working in New York City (I know, it's horrible).

Anywho, since I don't get to shoot as much now, I want to get involved in the online shooting community as much as I possibly can. I also hope to eventually found a startup in the shooting industry and might need your help with that soon

Taste-wise, I'm a pistol guy--Beretta & Sig, specifically. I think the Beretta 92G Elite II was one of the most beautiful things ever created.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone and contributing however I can. Thanks!

Thanks everyone, I'm glad to be here.

mattmiller - I've seen the centennial online but not in-person yet. Is that what you're competing with?

I started competing with my 92fs before I moved to NY. I did fairly well with it, my only gripe was the way my thumb rode (really high) sometimes I'd accidentally be pressing the slide release on the last shot so it wouldn't lock back. I filed the release down a bit and changed my grip a bit--all good :)

I have not seen a 92fs Centennial in person yet. I started with an inherited 92fs, moved on to M&P pro then to a STI for single stack. As for beauty, a well loved STI 1911 is the bee's knees, a Turnbull 1911 is a close second.
