Not sure owning 1 1911 makes me a fanatic, but I do love that thing and carry it daily. Kimber Pro Carry II I bought in 2006.

My username originates from my time in the military and law enforcement:
03- from 4 years in 03 MOS field in USMC, specifically 0341
11B- from the primary MOS I was assigned in the Army Reserve after USMC (11C was secondary)
50- for 21 years as a police officer

0311B50 or, as I'm known in the real world, Mike.
