What is the Preferred Pump Shotgun and length for Heavy metal?

The one I prefer is the Red Neck Tacticalized Benelli Nova with the shortest available 24" barrel. You are welcome to try it out anytime you like.

I would have to concur with Jesse,.........except that a 21" barrel is my current favorite.

Yeah I know he shortened it but I didn't want Nate searching for a 21" till the end of time. I might have to get mine chopped. I like a short barrel.

If memory serves me you had Briley cut that down didn't you? Where they able to still use the M1/Nova chokes or did they have to go with their thin wall chokes in it.

they were able to use the Benelli chokes!! and 21" worked out perfect to match up with one of the rib supports.

A complete Nova by RNT, runs 500-750.00 depending on what all you want done some stuff is done by vendors and you are only charged what they charge me. barrel cut and rethread for instance.

Damn one more thing to plan on spending money on. I really dislike long bbls and to me a 24" bbl is long. Now where does this fit into the budget......?

24" isn't bad but I too like the 21" better but an 18" feels the best. Too bad that 4" plate has to be a step or too closer for every inch you chop off the barrel. Or the choke needs to be tighter.
