Has any progress been made in getting the matches up & running again? Any discussion of a Match Director?
Thanks,
~Sandy

Heartland contacted me. They r looking for folks to help setup and run the match. Unfortunately that's not any easy asset to find. David was a perfect fit.

Yes, he was. I wish all involved would regroup, rethink, & reconsider. This was a great match. Numerous new shooters got their start here, including myself. When I first began shooting, I was encouraged to try this match. I was the only female that attended for quite some time. Although a bit intimidating, I was welcomed & encouraged by my fellow shooters. Over the past couple of years, we have seen beginners shoot this match, then branch out to other larger matches across the area/state.

As for David, I don't think you can find a more dedicated, creative, & consistent MD for HO.

Just my .02

I appreciate the kind words more than you know. I had fun doing the matches, which totaled almost 150 spread out over 7 years, the last, and best 3 at HO

It turns out there was bad info on both sides which led to the current state of affairs. I sent a polite email to Barry last Monday offering to continue the matches, but I've received no response. I've done all I can at this point.

I had some great ideas for future matches and even bought and saved some props in preparation for them, so maybe if its ok with Shannon, I can work them into a stage or three at H&H soon.

I'm glad to have been able to play a small part in getting new people involved in shooting.

The pleasure has been all mine.

I met Randy today, nice guy he said he used to shoot ipsa matches a long time ago. He is excited about helping out and setting up the matches, he said if anyone has any ideas or props bring them and they can be incorporated in the matches.
Anyone know where to get the white knock down plastic targets?
