I'm curious how they setup an action stage in the indoor range? Anyone enlighten me?

You shoot at the backstop. Every target is downrange. Break the 180 indoors, and you win a Darwin award.

So you're not standing at the shooting booths, they move you up so you can move?

yes, you are on the range side of the shooting booths. There will be multiple shooting positions and you will move from one to another for different target arrays, also shooting on the move. The cable system is taken advantage of as well by having targets charge or retreat as you enter a shooting box. We have shot at swingers, pendulms, and small targets, ie hanging wiffle balls and post it notes.

David always has some fun stages setup. It's another good place to go to get some trigger time in.

Wow, that sounds like a pretty cool setup. Now I just need to find a way of getting out of work on those nights. :)

Don't forget we sometime have to plop down on the floor and shoot around a wall or something. David does get creative!

What does a division like this entail?

Your name must be Burk C, you must talk about attending the match and then.....

No, wait. I think for anyone to win the "Burk" division, they'll have to show up and actually shoot the match.

:D

I would love to shoot a match with a single action. It would be a bit tough on the reloads though.

OKCGC hosts two a month.
