Hard Chrome and Black Chrome

I had my Phoenix Trinity grip and thumb safety Cerakoted back in January and it's peeling of the grip already. Looks like the guy that did it had several coats on it and there is significant color change even between the coats.

So I've decided to get the thumb safety hard chromed to match the original finish on the slide and frame, and then black chrome (open to other durable black finishes) the frame.

Any recommendations would be great!

Are you going back to the natural finish on the grip?

Cerakote should not fail anywhere near that fast. I have a feeling the parts were not prepared correctly prior to being coated. i would be asking for a refund...
