I've always been intimidated by KD pistol steel and Texas stars. I get a good sight picture, pull on the bang switch and miss, and miss, miss again, hit hit miss. You get the idea. Yesterday I realized it's not what I see, but how I pull the trigger. I slowed down and just pressed the trigger. Cleaned a star for the first time and was mowing through plates. Yes, I was a little slower, but I remember how it felt and pretty sure I can improve the speed.
