not really how the whole competition thing is supposed to work.
Your score shouldn't be based on how many practice runs you're willing to pay for.
The possibility of a malf or general screw up is why 1 of the 5 strings gets tossed.

Maybe just a point system. So you use times to decide top 5 that day and then award 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 pts to 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th respectively and whoever has most points at the end is the winner.

ETA: similar to NASCAR but use the top 10 scores for each competitor.

I agree, thats whay Im asking.
Any answers, cmon, we got enough H&H pro shooters around, is this a legit match or some some trigger time for pay?

We are, at this point going to allow every one to drop two weeks of scores in case of vacation. We are using the basic steel challenge layouts. At the end, the total times will be added and then the folks with the lowest overall times will be the winners. As far as the reshoots go, you can pay the extra 5 dollars to shoot again, but your first run is the one that counts towards the prize table. I apologize for not being clearer on that. realistically I set this up in hopes of drawing the youth in, but we got both young and old in. It was amazing to come in at 7pm last night and see a line of shooters waiting! If you guys have any questions you can always call me or text me. 405 three 01 009six.
