The one and only time I stopped in this place was the day after the recall came out on the springfield XDS. When I noticed that they had one for sale I asked the owner (at least I think it was the owner) if he had checked to see if it was a serial number affected by the recall. He argued with me and insisted that it was only the shields that where recalled. I then suggested he visit springfield Web site to verify at which point he told me that if a manufacturer doesn't contact him he isn't going out of his way to handle it. Gun store people get beat up on a lot on forums sometimes unfairly. But here is a clear example of someone who is more concerned with a sale than someone's safety. It's unacceptable and I won't support that business.
