I'm gonna plan to be there around 10:15 to 10:30 but gotta stop for some .223 on the way. I have some paper targets if anyone needs one. Anyone gonna have a spotting scope by chance? I still need to zero the scope but only have 12x bino's. I'll be in a silver GMC Canyon.

Chris

I will have mine. I will also have my rifle which at 24 power you can see your holes easily.

Awesome, thanks.

On another note, anyone have some 20 round AR mags you would trade for 30-round mags? I have 5 in great shape with green followers I'll have with me.

Ok

Have tons of 9mm now. Some additional 223 now as well. if you need it, let me know and i will bring it.

I will be there a little early and see you all shortly.

I will bring your 3 suppressors if you want.. Let me know.

I am all loaded up. PSA M16, Custom Rem 700, Savage .17HMR Tactical, and my neighbors Marlin 336. I have to sight it in for him since I sold him a new leupold VX-II. Also bringing four suppressors... Innovative Arms .17HMR, YHM 9mm 3-lug, Innovative Arms .45, and AAC 7.62 SD.

And Since Clicker will be there I will be wearing my duty weapon and badge. Hopefully if the old men out there see a deputy shooting full autos he wont take it upon himself to call berkeley counties finest like they have done to clicker twice now. What a buzz kill to have popo show up and want to see your "LICENSE for that weapon" LMAO...Its like hey dumb ass. You should have paid attention in the academy when they went over title II weapons. Its not a license...Its a confidential tax document and legally the only person I have to show it to is an ATF agent.

Enjoyed seeing everybody today!! As always I had a blast. Cant wait to do it again. Good to meet all the out of towners and Enjay.

Thanks for letting me try out my uppers on your lower Henry.. I think the 5.45x39 was sufficiently broken in. The 300 Blackout needs a few more ammunition tweaks-I have a feeling a few mag dumps wil have it broken in as well ;-)

I had a great time getting to see everyone. We actually had someone come up to the range with a full auto Black Rifle he had with two kids with him.. Don't think he was with the forum, but was coincidence that he showwed up the same day.. As much full auto and suppressed fire there was I think the rest of the visitors there must have figured out it HAD to be legit.. Its probably the lone person popping off a few FA rounds that makes 'em go hmmmmm..

I had a blast (pun intended) :) Sorry if I didn't introduce myself, wasn't thinking and realized on the drive home that I didn't. Very un-soldier-like of me. I did get my M-223 scope dialed in and helped Dave with his. Also thanks Dave for letting me try out all those old and new pistols and your newly built .308. Now I have major high-power envy and must begin building my own.

Chris

We had a great time, thanks everyone for being so generous with your weapons, ammunition and time. Now I understand the draw of Boggy Head. It will be difficult to stay away. Some of the highlights of my day (besides putting names to faces):
-Clickers' M16 and AR-15. My first full auto experience, I'm still smiling over that.
-Steve's .44 revolver, another first today. It's big, shiny, and sweet as heck.
-Watching my husband have to restrain himself from drooling all over Steve's gorgeous Kimber Eclipse. I think we've buttoned up that issue, a Kimber will eventually find it's way here.
-Comparing my XD9SC and a full sized XDm 9mm. I was surprised at how stiff the trigger is on the XDm but all in all it's a nice weapon.
-Jeff from Precision-ONe allowed me to try some different 9mm he'd loaded and explained a bit of what the different loads do. I quite liked his 147 gr Hollow Points.
-Henry let me take a look around through his Redfield Scope. Nice! I think I do want one, for starters.
-Meeting Chris, Daniel and Aaron from Guns.com. It was so nice to meet y'all, keep in touch and come back soon! Bring more toys! :)

That was my 16 you shot that steve gave you. Clicker had his set up for .22 before I left....Either way glad you enjoyed it!!

I thought we had a great day...I really hated to leave early (1:00 p.m.) but my buddy Tom had to get home...
I really enjoyed seeing everyone. I also enjoy sharing my toys...

I love watching people grip my ..44 like it was going to tear their head off, then, the suprising lack of recoil...It is cool.

It was good to see Enjay's face after the full up dump of Henry' s 16...

Sure glad everyone had a good time..

Was good to meet Chris and the guys from Guns.com...Will be looking for us in a couple of weeks...

Steve

Henry, After seeing your Tactical 17 HMR and getting back home, I realized I had found a few left-over boxes of the CCI 17 HMR TNT rounds. I think its 2 boxes and a piece.. I'll have to remember them next time I expect to drop by or run into you.

WOW!!!!

What a great day. I still feel great from earlier.

Many thanks to everyone that was there to make the experience more enjoyable...hearing FA and Suppressed firearms during the day sure does put a smile on your face.

Clicker, thanks for the use of the full auto pak and the beta mag...it is amazing on how long it takes to load that, and then in less than 20 sec it is empty.

Steve, thanks again for the use of the 44 mag...i was able to put the different loads back to back and see the difference. That M1 was a pleasure as well. Hope Tom heals soon. He is getting better at shooting left handed.

Henry, appreciate your toys and for bringing out the suppressors. The 223 was amazing.

Enjay, always a pleasure talking shop. I am glad you were able to put some of the 9mm back to back as well and see the dif in your firearm.

Dave, look forward to seeing you again soon.

Chuck, we will have to talk some more soon.

and again...WOW!!!

I had a great time today. I enjoyed putting faces to names and watching the smiles as people tried new firearms and types of guns they had never shot before.
Thanks Chris for helping me get those rifles set. I wish I could eat the center out of a target like you did.
Enjay and spouse, I was very glad to meet y'all today. I have enjoyed reading your comments and reviews on the forum.
Jeff, I give your ammo 3 thumbs up. Don't ask how I managed another thumb. :D
Steve, that is a good looking Garand you have. I like the wood and I did watch y'all shoot it. I'm still hoping to make a rode trip to CMP in Ohio and pick one off the rack. Maybe by then I won't be so cautious about rattling my eyeballs.
Thank you Tom for bringing the old Remington Model 51. It is good to see some of the old guns out there. We'll have to get together and compare notes on some of our C&R firearms.
Charles from MC, very glad to meet you. Hope we can burn some powder sometime.
I apologize for not being as social as I would normally. I have to confess, I was enthralled by the AR 308. I was speechless. Everyone should have one of those to play with. That was the softest shooting .308 I have ever been behind. 40 rounds and I don't feel like I even shot a high power rifle. A better scope is on the get list and a trip to shoot with Henry when we can get together.
I'm really looking forward to the Fall Shootzenfest.

Well, Frost and I did actually show up,but from the sound of things we just missed you all.
We got there about 10 till 2:PM.
My bad, I had to drive from Charlotte and I got a little bit of a late start. Then there's the drive out to Boggy Head.

We brought our SSAR15's for a test fire. I'm very satisfied with mine. It ran like a sewing machine, albeit a sewing machine that shoots .223 ammo!

I very much wanted to connect with you guys. Did anybody har from the Chris Callihan?
I'd be interested to know when he'll publish the article he's writing. It should be very interesting to see youreselvesin print.
8-)

Actually I just don't want to miss it.

Thanx to all who showed up and even to those who missed it . . . . :o

Pops

We must have passed you on the way in, we left at 1:40. :(
Chris was there, and he brought two of his staff, Daniel and Aaron. They took lots of pictures and video so hopefully we'll see something on their site soon.
Glad to hear that your weapons are working nicely, and that reminds me I need to look up a video on replacing the belt for my Singer. Thanks!

Chris and the guy were there for quite awhile...The were shooting anything anyone would pass them....I know they shotmy 4" Kimber, my S&W .44 Mag., and maybe the Garand...

Everyone was shooting everything...

They had a couple of guns with them...One was a new 5" XD Springfield...It was nice, but, I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with it...

Sorry you were running so late, POPS...I tried to call Frost a couple of times, but got no answer...

We alswo got T-shirts....

Steve

I had a good time and it's nice to put a face with a name.

Steve I gotta say you were right your Garand was a hoot! If I can hit stuff at 100 yards with irons that gun is ON.

I was a bit disappointed that didn't have a chance to play with the KelTec carbine - always wondered what they'd be like to shoot.

Superchuck helped me warm up the barrel on my 10mm MP5. It's been too long since I last had it out and I do love shooting it.

I was still cleaning up my stuff when Pops & Frost arrived. Man you guys weren't kidding about those SlideFire stocks, they really do work well, thanks for the trigger time on one.

Dang, I must have passed Pops and Frost as I was driving out of Boggy Head Range. I didn't linger around long enough.

Thanks for the time on the 10mm Clicker, it was a lot stouter than I'd have expected.. BTW, I have an early Christmas present coming in, a 247 grain 30 cal bullet mold.. I'm going to have to start scavenging scrap lead.

I just heard back about my bolt action barrel, the blank is still on backorder, so hoping by the next Shootzenfest, I'll have a 300 bolt action to test out. Right now, the 300 blackout upper has been plenty fun enough.
