Gun show

OK guys we are asked to help at the gun show on the 27th and 28th in Tulsa we have 20 people on the team so i figure 2 hours per person should cover this. I will need everyone to do this. Part of being on the team is promoting USSA memberships.


I have attached an excel spread sheet with times available. Please pick a time that works best for you.




















Metcalf gun show, Tulsa Fairgrounds April 27-28, hours Saturday 27th, 9-5 Sunday 28th, 10-4.



There will be 1 staff member and 2 volunteers plus 2 team members at all times,

Sorry fellas I can't make it in April. I can't get off work to shoot I'm definitely not getting off to talk about shooting.

I say wear jersey and bring your belt and guns and see how much interest that gets.

Jesse; thats a great idea. I had not thought about bringing my equipment.. I am assuming that we will have a table top to display so I can bring my IDPA, USPSA, SC and Tac rifle gear to show. I will also bring my new Bolle glasses and Hear Pro ears... can we get some extra flyers from our sponsers to support that? I will also showcase my holsters from Troy so we could use anything he has to talk about that also.

BTW... i can bring all my equipment to whoever opens on saturday and leave it.. I would just need to know who that is since i am working Badlands that day i would need to meet on friday for the handoff.

I've never had a table at a gun show but I'm sure as long as it has a zip tie through the action so it's visibly safe you can carry it around on you for demonstration purposes.

I've always wanted to setup a booth at the gun shows for BoomerShooter with a few guys rigged up with their 3 gun and/or pistol gear so everyone could see our stuff. It would be badass to have a big 46" flat screen playing to show you shooting too.

Don't forget to through the forum a bone when your talking to guys. This is a great place to meet and talk to help them get unscared of a match.

Agree with Jessie. Does somebody have a tv and enough tech skills to burn a DVD of quality match footage, maybe pirate some of the well produced tv footage, and the USSA helicopter footage would be awesome.

I lack the skill and equipment, but know we have some techies on the team. YouTube must be a wealth of material. And don't forget to include Jessie Duff footage. That will get some attention.
