Well. the gun lube I have been used for years if finally running out and don't know if I can even find it anymore (it is Castrol synthetic gun lube)

What have you guys found to be the best for daily carry guns (if that makes any difference) I will be using it on my Glock, which I normally just lubricate with sand so that one doesn't really matter. My other carry gun is a Kimber Pro so I like to have high quality lube to be able to keep it pretty wet.

What say ye?

H&H sells Royal Purple Synthetic Gun Lube in bot drop or spray. That's what I use, works great.

Red Neck Tactical recommended Mobil 1 synthetic motor oil. I've never felt a smoother cycling gun with that stuff in it. Plus a quart last forever and it's cheap.

yes typo, I meant "both" dropper bottle & aerosol spray can

JT/Brandon: why can't I edit my previous post?

I have been using syn. hi temp red gear grease on the rails and lugs of 1911's. Works smooth and doesnt dry up a fast.

I use Brian Enos slide glide, works great on everything I have put it on.

I use M-Pro7 on all my firearms

+1 for M-Pro7 and you can find it in Academy Sports.

Keep the suggestions coming but since Wall brought up the dropper bottle, where can I get a dropper bottle with the long tip that makes pinpoint lubing easier, such as oiling the slide rails etc.

I can't believe we have this many responses and no "lube" jokes from Jesse..........

DING, DING, DING we have a winner. Thanks Jesse, that's exactly what I was talking about.

What, still no lube jokes? Ever since we got that damned general discussion forum, everything over here is so serious.................

(Why an afro smiley, you ask? I don't know but it is pretty damned funny)

+1 on the Royal Purple it does not seem to burn off like most lubes I have tried. M pro 7 is very good also. Never tried the syn motor oil but I may give it a shot on my next outing.
