I haven't seen this before, but that's nothing new. Kinda looks like there could be some safety issues come up, but it gets you quick access. Looks a little quicker than grabbing one beside the bed. Keeps it away from kids if you remember to use the lock. Seems pretty pricey for a one trick pony.

i have 3 labs that sleep inside the house, by the time someone deals with them i will have more than enough time to get to my gun in the safe......

maybe if they were going to do something to me, but if they even got close to my wife it wouldn't be pretty...
