gun cart question?

I need to make a cart quick for a match coming up Saturday. I tried to find a decent and cheap used baby jogger that would fold at least partially but am coming up empty so far. I have a garden cart that would work great but the easiest way to mount the gun racks is on the sides, thus carrying the guns with muzzles parallel to the ground. I'd prefer to have them either muzzle up or down but don't have the time to arrange that before Saturday.

So...Is it ok to tranport guns on a cart with muzzles flat?

Thanks for the offer Jeremy - getting up your direction this week would be as big a challenge.

Just hold your ETTS match on Sunday and I won't need a cart :)

Have you found gun mounts for it yet? I picked up some Kolpin ATV gun mounts at Bass Pro for mine. Some Walmart stores also carry similar mounts.

Here ya go! Poor quality pics but you get the idea. I was surprised that with even my heavy ass rifle on the outer carrier and nothing else in the cart nor the shotty on the other side, the cart didn't have any tendency to get tippy.

Can anyone point to an inexpensive source for the gun mounts? The one's I've seen in stores are a little pricey for a do-it-yourself gun cart. Thx.

The double mounts I used were $40 each at Bass Pro. SIngles were around $30. I'm sure something less costly could be had or made, but I didn't want to skimp on the part that secures $4k worth of guns.

I've been working on my new cart too. Is this overkill for the 3gun Match at USSA this next weekend?

Ok, so I got a buddy who is coming with me and is going to shoot this match too. I'm going to be letting him use some of my extra stuff. Will USSA let me take this golf cart? I seriously need it for 2 people's worth of stuff.

Here was mine in action today.

This thing is a great multi-purpose rig. Great for hunting and down not the farm. Obviously a little ridiculous if it was a dedicated competition shooting cart.
