I love how they make fun of the hardware & gun store. The hardware store used to be where you went to get guns!
Though I am surprised to see an old-time hardware store that hasn't gone out of business or become an ACE Hardware.

My grandfather used to take me to Isham's Hardware in Coffeyville, KS when I was a boy. It's in the same building that it was when the Dalton Gang raided the banks there and the citizens went to Isham's to arm up and defend their town. I went there last year after he passed to buy a Case knife like he always carried. Old hardware stores are a gem. It's sad that most don't see the value in the service and assortment that they provide.poopgiggle said:

I visited the most awesome hardware store I could imagine in Cocoa, Florida while doing hurricane relief for the banking infrastructure. They had everything. EVERYTHING. Machine tools and tool bits. 14" reversible ratcheting tap handles (I bought one). Every hand tool for every trade. Drill bits in all sizes and lengths; ALL of them, wire sizes, letters, metric, fractional to 64ths, short and long aircraft length, long boy bits, carpentry and masonry, glass cutting, concrete boring... An incredible array of generators. Generic hardware store stuff, but with a selection that left absolutely nothing out. It was like a dream come true. They had boats for sale, and ATVs. And they were busy as elephant dung. I had to wait in line for an hour to check out.

The Ace store in Ponca recently went back into the gun business. They have a rack of guns, ammo, and are offering hunting equipment.poopgiggle said:

I continue to be pissed by Hannity. He had Wayne Lapiere on tonight, and showed a pic of a gas gun with a hand grip and one with a common stock.
His comment was that the hand grip was cosmetic. He claims to be a gun owner.
If he is, he needs to get his facts straight. I suspect he has fired the 50 rounds to get his CCL

Dammit!!
They have Jesse Duff(female) on to explain how different guns are actually all the same operationg principle, and right off the bat, she calls the forward grip a pistol grip.
Then shooting the BAR auto loader, in 30.06, she says this is the "civilian version" of an auto loader. Not good. She did a very good report otherwise.
Some anti is going to get all over this one.

There are Uninformed people all over this Country who have the rights to express their opinions. My cab driver who took the wife and I to the airport yesterday is one of them. He ask if we were in town for the Shot Show, after I answered he let me know he was a liberal Dem. He must have felt it was his responsibility to inform me why he thought Gun Control was good. I don't think, sorry I know he didn't get the response he was looking for. He guickly switched to mag capacity in which again he was Shoot down. My wife did have to ask me to take it down a notch. I get loud when I'm excited without knowing it, my wife and kids alway's tease me about how loud my voice is, And they tell me to use my quiet voice which is about normal volume for most. There was one good thing that came out of the conversation, I got to the airport for $8.00 less then it took to get us to the hotel on the first day. I hope he enjoyed his $8 tip because I'm pretty sure he did like my opinion on gun control.

That’s not how we look to them. They are trying to paint us into a stereotype for the uninformed to garner support for banning guns. “Obviously, for every responsible, law-abiding gun owner out there, there's one of these folks. It almost makes you wish there was some sort of enforceable law in place that kept guns out of the hands of irresponsible people.†In their quote they claim the video represents half of us and that the guns should be taken away.dennishoddy said:
