Group buy of 9mm ammo

I knew there was a lot of overlap between the two groups. These are the only two forums I keep up with any regularity. Knew there were good folks who could use a price break for practice ammo. I still feel that way. Group buys are the only way to combat the ammo price rise. Wish I knew how to buy 22LR in bulk that would take it back to $10-15/brick. ;)

Just curious how payment will be handled, and how ammo will be dispersed.

Will we have an ammo pick-up party at P-1? LOL

Hey everybody
Listen ive got a question
I live in the Clover SC area is it ok for me to jump in on this deal?????????
question 2 Dave where would we have to come to inorder to make payment and pick up ammo.
Im a former nc resident and still do most of my buying and tradeing and gunshows in the charlotte area (mostly).
Id like to become more active with SC members on this board.

Got you covered PapaBear.

I'm going to check on setting up an escrow acct. at SCBT. If it cost us something it will be added to the cost at whatever it is per thousand. You'll pay a percentage depending on much you order. I'll get back on here when I get something solid.
We'll have some meet-ups around the state and deliver then. The Palmetto Concealed Carry Facebook group has regular meet-ups around the state so those can be a way to meet other folks around the state with similar interests.

Please do rebelsgt1. If the escrow acct works out you could send money to bank. The acct. is to protect everyone in case the deal flopped. Then you could get your money back without a hassle. See above for pick-up. The meet-ups have been Charleston, Greenville, Salem, Spartanburg, Columbia and one coming up in Augusta area. Can't remember if Charlotte/Rock Hill have been done but see no reason why not.

I can process debit/credit cards for less than 1% if needed.....and transfer to the bank account as well.

Just went over my list and want to update what I need:
5k - 124
1k - 115

Thanks

Thanks PapaBear. We've had several other revisions today. :D
I wish we could have gotten this going earlier. a delivery to Shootzenfest would have been an eye opener for non-members. Of course we might have ended up on "lists" :D

I've been in Alaska visiting my Daughter this past week. I thought I'd be back in time to check with the bank today. Didn't get back as early as I was suppose to. Will check with SCBT about escrow acct. Friday. The best laid plans of mooses and men oft go aglee. We did see a bunch of moose and a few caribou up there.

Here we go....

Please add me to the list for ANOTHER 6k of 124 grain.

Thanks

I have a large family and we all shoot, and can understand the value of this group buy.

So, when do we talk about a group buy of 223? LOL

Thanks for handling all of this, by the way.

It has been discussed about being next after a successful execution of this group buy.
The main person to thank is Jeff... for giving us this opportunity.

Dave

Dave,

You still have me in for a 1k 124gr. right? I'm still interested, keep me up to speed with payment and pick up details.

Dan

Okay, 1 more update........

16k of 124
1k of 115

That should put us pretty close....

I spoke with the officer at SCBT about an account that would protect everyone and still bee reasonable to set up. Needs a fair amount of paperwork and a Tax ID number. I have several already and do not want another one. An escrow acct. is merely an acct. set-up by an interested party that isn't really as safe as I thought. It would also involve the Feds when a check for $12,000.00 was drawn on it. No thank you. I really don't want to be handling this much of other people's money without some safe guards or checks and balances. Of course, last but not least is sales tax on in state purchases.
Help me out with a solution.
