If we could get a group buy for, weapon mounted flashlights, flip up sights, slings, ammo, red dot's, and just about anything AR related. I would be deffinately be down for that.

OK Everyone - REMEMBER the whole idea of GROUP BUYS is to find something that other people will want also. Usually it takes between 20 to 30 to get special pricing. Not picking on you Mike but I don't know 20 people that shoot an M&P 9. Gotta think generic folks. Brass and primers are good ideas for group buys, a Nikon Monarch 8x32 is WAY to specific to find 20+ other folks that want the same thing.

Stay tuned - I'm waiting for some email replies

Could we find an ammo vendor for some Winchester AA's? I guess we could do done cheaper shot shells too. Some low recoil buckshot or slugs might be good too.

Shoot, man, you gotta do better than that to hurt my feelings. Sent you a PM on the group buy deal for the Nikons, by the way.

Michael

Ammo. Everyone could always use more ammo.

The only problem I see with that is all the different calibers, but if somebody is willing to work out a deal on multiple calibers, I'd be in for some .45 ACP or .308/7.62X51.

Am I in the minority in suggesting .308 AR lowers?

Depending on brand and price, I'd be in for at least 1, if not 2 or 3.

another +1 for the small pistol primers.

Also I'd be in for .40s&w bullet group buys. It's not much, but if I could save some money on 1k or so then I'd be set for alittle while. That probably nothing for you guys, but I'm getting pretty low on 40.

There has been several other good ideas that I've seen so far, but alot would depend on what prices are and what the buy is for as to whether i'm in or out on anything else.

Don't need any 223 brass, but I could use some 6.5Grendel.
I'd probably be in on a JP trigger deal as well.
Drag bags or rifle bags, maybe
bullets 6.5 or 7.62, probably .223
don't need no more lowers....at the moment, but I have been looking at building another off caliber on an AR platform.

elephant dung, I really need to concentrate on ammo and mostly 6.5G and 40
Anyhow, I'll follow along until something is ironed out. Really wish they'd said MAGPUL was GTG.

Guys - right now I have my hands more than full with the Palmetto group buy and working out details on the Quentin if we can get enough folks. When I finally get a chance to breathe again I will look at all the ideas and get pricing from vendors

HEY!

We are freeloading members of your no-cost site, we demand satisfaction!

No rush, the more time I have to come up with hiding spaces for more ammo and a lower or two, the better.

Here's my suggestion for ammo purchase... we skip the dealers/distributors and go straight for the manufacturer. I traced down the manufacturer for a random brand and here's what I found...

Garth Enterprises Inc (aka Cascade Ammunition)
2405 Ne Diamond Lake Boulevard # 10
Roseburg, OR 97470-364
(541) 464-8979

This is a small ammunition manufacturer ($390k / year income; 4 employees) that makes ammo under a the name Cascade Ammunition. If we get together and buy enough, perhaps they'll put our own brand name on the box?!? BoomerShooter .223 sounds pretty good to me! If we get enough people together to buy, perhaps we can get brass-cased .223 under $0.30 per round.
