This is not my usual lineup but I went in for one thing and ended up buying 4 bargain guns.

I bought 2 of these RIA Standard A1 models in 45. Picked them up for $379/each. Cheapest I've ever seen an RIA that wasn't a GI base model. I've been thinking hard about a cheap but reliable 1911's to stock up on. I'd like to have 20 or 30 on hand juuuust in case… This might be it. Ambi safety too.

Also while I was there, they were clearancing out some S&W CSX 9mm range kits. These are the metal frame S&W pistol. Nice, heavy, compact, very low bore axis and 13rds to boot. I bought one for me and the wife as carry guns. Can't wait to try one of these out. I have high hopes. It's a very comfortable compact.

The range kits were $50 cheaper than the gun by itself, $76 cheaper after the extra 5% off. Paid $474/each.

Next on my list is the EAA/Girsan Witness2311. This one is $820 or $830, I forgot but it'll have to wait until next month. I've already spent too much this week. Appears loaded with a 15rd capacity of 10mm.

Nice score!
I'm big into the S&W's. Gen 1 and Gen II.
I owned a S&W Enhanced. It was one of the prettiest 1911's I've had but the ramp finish was poorly done and the slide to frame fitment was sloppy. I didn't care for the mags either. I wouldn't pay $1000 for another one. At least not without a personal inspection first. It did have a nice trigger though and it did run.

Since posting this, I added 7 more of the RIA's pictured above. 4 of them in 9mm. I also added 2 RIA Rock Ultras in 45

And added 2 Mossberg 88 Cruisers in 20ga.

I haven't picked anything up yet. That's going to be a haul when I do. 15 guns in total. I'm on vacation in Nashville at the moment. Probably be a few weeks before I get around to it.

I hope that your experiences with the CSX and Witness are good.
The CSX that I bought for my wife was a huge disappointment.
My Girsan Hunter was a pos and dealing with EEA was less than pleasant.

I got tons of toys today and more arriving tomorrow.

I couldn't help myself on this one. RIA 10mm Rock Ultra 1911s under $350. That's nuts for what it is. Base model GI's usually run more.

Put this UPC in Gun.Deals and pic yer store.

Apparently the distributor is clearing out some inventory. Appears there's 165 in stock at the time of posting (I don't know which distributor it is, I only see the count).

Trigger Air gun Gun barrel Revolver Gun accessory

Mine came in at $351 shipped because I bought 8 which seriously dilutes the shipping cost down per gun.

I was set on not buying another cartridge for handguns but I wasn't passing on this.

Don't forget if you spend $1,000 on RIA during this calendar year you can get a free lever action .410 which make these a really sweet deal.

They appear to be gone.
Did you get it from RIA?
Advanced Tactical for the lever gun. You may have to wait for them to come back in stock.

The 10mm 1911s are still out there. My source went up $140 since this posting. That usually happens once I've ordered something.

Just an update, by the time I got all those guns I posted above picked up, this was the final haul.

Still more coming. At least 8 1911s, 1 revolver and 7 lever action 410s (I expect an additional 4 before it's over).

A few months back I got the RIA ULTRA TAC FSHC. VERY impressive, especially considering the price. Pretty accurate too.
Monday I should receive my KDS9C.
No more purchases till springtime when the OT at work comes back.

Ever get a visit from the ATF?
I've had some blacked out SUVs parked out at the end of my lane before but no one has ever approached me. ATF and Secret Service used to share a building with me. I know those cars. It's either FBI, ATF or Secret Service. My money is on ATF. Just sat down there and watched for about 20 min and left.

I should probably mention there is no good vantage point or possibility of sneaking up on my place with any sort of stealth. We can see out but you can't see in without being in plain sight.

If you're planning on using the Armscor magazine promo on one or more of these Melik 9mm, you're going to want to know this stuff. The good news is, the team at Armscor is pretty awesome.

1. I submitted the form for each gun for the 30rd magazine. The promo says they will substitute at their discretion where there are legal restrictions so I thought it would be automatic. It wasn't (or possibly overlooked). Someone is actually manually issuing these codes on the backend, be patient.

2. When the codes were issued, I responded letting them know IL had a 15rd magazine limit. They responded stating that they had codes for those. Unfortunately, they didn't send them and I had to call today. They said they would take care of it within the hour. They did.

3. Even though IL has a 15rd magazine limit, by default, the sight will not allow an IL resident order larger than 10rd magazines. I assume because rifles are limited to 10. This resulted in another call today which was again fixed within the hour, however, they had to void my codes and place the order on the backend.

The good news is, no run around and they are on the way. I'm pretty sure that small team is overwhelmed, which is understandable.

Yes they are.
The grips on my TAC ULTRA broke. An email and 2 was latter I had new grips.
Great customer service isn't everything. It's EVERYTHING!

i took my Kimber LW to the range yesterday. it was fantastic. i was hitting pine cones and shotgun shells with one shot at what is it 10 yds to the first berm?
most of the 60 rds were round nose but i came into some 185 gr semi wadcutters that are pretty short. one of 16 stuck but went in with a tap of the slide. they were just real cheap 45 heads and i used to shoot a lot of lead bullets.
i didnt feel any more recoil from it being the light weight model either. its a keeper.
