My Trijicon Reflex II was off getting repaired when I joined this site so I haven't put up any photos. It's the 1x24mm Reflex sight with the 12.5 MOA amber triangle reticle. I got a weaver mount for the sight so my fixed front sight post will co-witness. And prior to today (when my optic finally arrived back to me) I didn't know if it would be too low or not. Fortunately...it's perfect! Let me know what ya'll think!
From the side. The Reflex II is not very big and lightweight (4.2 ounces) versus my AimPoint M2's 7.1 ounces. I know...how much difference can 3 ounces make? Not much in the overall heft of the weapon, but now it feels like the weight is where it should be in the upper receiver, not up higher.
The clear looking front of the sight is the fiber optics made to gather ambient light to power the reticle. If no light is available, then the tritium (radioactive) inside the optic is what makes it visible.
What it looks like when shouldering the weapon. My cell phone camera wouldn't focus on the reticle, so it looks small and fuzzy. The optic's lens looks shady at the moment. The lens will shade/clear up depending on if its forward or back-lit. Perfect co-witness and reticle to front sight post alignment.
And, finally, it wouldn't be complete without this:
