Got bad news today!

Just left the doctor today because my back has been hurting really bad, and he told me that I have got to get back surgery. I am waiting on the specialist to call me, and say when I got to go see him, and then they will Schedule the date to have it done which will be really soon. So now I am freaking out and scared to death because I have herd so many horror stories about back surgeries, and no telling how long I won't be able to shoot hell I will go through withdraws!!! So there goes my chance to shoot Area 4 in Arkansas. Well anyways wish me luck guys because I really need it,and like I said I am scared to death, and freaking out!!!

Damn dude. i know recovery from back surgery is a cat lady but it can be done! Its gonna suck not to see ya out there shooting but just concentrate on getting better.

Sorry to hear about the back, but you WILL get through it. Before you commit to an invasive procedure, I encourage you to investigate laser surgery. I was ready to have neck surgery a couple years ago, but heard about Laser Spine Institute in OKC. Worked miracles for me.
 
Damn dude that sucks! You should try done alternative healing first. Maybe one of old uncle Curk Bornelius special back rubs can make the hurt go away. He did wonders on my meet.

Your being told you have to have surgery by someone other than the surgeon who will be doing the surgery? Private message incoming.
 
Lol!!! I did do some reading on that Laser surgery, and that seams like the path I want to take. I have been putting this off for about 12 years now, and it finally has gotten so bad nothing but some type of Surgery will help. Last week I had to use a walker to get around. Dam I feel old.

Get multiple opinions if you can. Back surgery is not something you want to second-guess anything about. Good luck buddy.
 
Hate to hear this Feegee. I know how you feel as I'm probably looking at something similar somewhere down the road.
 
Maybe after surgery your mags will drop free!!!!!!!!!

What exactly did they say was the problem? I have been working in the spine industry for 9 years and would be happy to talk to you if you like. My Dad had to have surgery about 3 years ago for Lumbar Spinal Stenosis he is doing quite well. It just depends on the pathology. Good Luck.
 
I had a Disc Herniate and fragments of it broke off and are trapped in my nerve bundle, but the big picture is I have 5 Ruptured disc and a cracked vertebrae.
