My wife bought me a Gopro this past Christmas and I'd like to start using it to video some of my matches. Just curious what some of you guys use for video editing software or if you have any tips/suggestions that I should know.

Thanks!

So far I have done one video with software that came with it. It was OK but I'm sure there is better stuff out there

Thanks for the info guys.

I don't recall my camera coming with any software, but there is an ios/android app that they suggested that I use, is that what you're referring to? If it was software on one of those miniature CD's then I probably threw it away, but I know that there weren't any CD's in the package.

You can google gopro and download the software from their website. The app will let you control the camera from your smart phone and use your smartphone as a viewfinder if your camera is capable. It's pretty slick!

yeah once you register the camera I think you have the option to download the software for free. I have it but iMovie is way simpler if you have a Mac

Cyberlink powerdirector ultimate 13 is one I bought a few months ago. It let's you do just about anything that can be done to a video.
I can vouch for this. Definitely, has a lot of functionality for video editing.
