I'm going to qualify my win. I did shoot basically a 3 gun zombie match. It was an amazing match, for what it's worth. An incredible amount of talent and work went into the props and stage design. Lots of dedicated volunteers reset the match without being able to compete. Basically there were 2 stages, and you were driven to the range blindfolded. The RO staged your guns, gave a scenario and safety brief, then started the stage. There were 12 shotgun zombies for 00 buck, around 6 or 7 rifle zombies between 75 and 125 yards, and maybe 20 pistol engagements. Match limited rounds to 15 .223, 25 buck, and 50 pistol. Run out you lose. The targets were life sized, with a 2 1/2 by 4 inch plate trigger hidden in a head, generally where the brain is. Hit the trigger and the zombie collapses. Most of the competitors took on a post apocalyptic persona and this was their main competitive outlet. My main advantage wasn't so much skill as being set up for 3 gun instead of the apocalypse. Overall, it was a great experience, but probably not for the die in the wool competitor, but only because it was too short. But I can only imagine the work a 6 stage match like this would entail. I'll post video after I figure out how again so everyone can see how cool the targets were.
