What do you use?
how the hell do you do it?
and can you somehow upload at a lower quality to save it taking over a hour for a couple mins?

The movie editor seems easy enough to use but what type of file do you guys save them as? What every I saved them as Youtube informs me isn't a video format.
I might download the gopro one too and see how it works

You should be able to import the video in the same format it was recorded in, MP4. Use Movie Maker to edit, then save it as a movie, not as a project. The GoPro software requires a modern video card, just FYI.

It seriously never occurred to me that someone, in this day and age, would have a computer without hardware 3D acceleration.

Dude. People still have Nokia phones with a pull out antenna in everyday use. Windows 2000 just left corporate America six years ago for good. I bet used PCs get traded-in with Win95 pretty regularly still. Hyperterminal is still useful.

The last computer I owned without hardware 3D was a Pentium II MMX that ran Windows ME for Chrissakes (parents bought it when I was in the 4th grade). If you're still running something that old I can only presume that your computer is part of 15 botnets and so is slowed down too much to be usable.

My pc is over 10 years old, still going strong. My pickup is 16 years old. I keep my stuff till it no longer runs, or is waaaay more expensive to fix than it is worth to me.

you must really enjoy punishing yourself.

My time & blood pressure is worth waaaaay more than the money it costs for simple upgrades.

Well this thread has just gone over my head.

Anywho....
the windows editor would only save it in a wlmp file ( I have no idea why) and wouldnt save it in anything else or open it up again, its probably a virus one that is downloading gay porn onto my facebook.
But the GoPro one is sweet as even asks what you want to use the video for so you can save it in the most applicable format.
Also I spelt applicable right without the computers help !
