Glock 42 pontential problems?

Generally speaking glocks start hiccuping when people start putting aftermarket parts that are meant to correct problems that don't exist, like installing steel guide rods etc.

If it is meant to carry and self defense, change the sights and shoot it. The only thing wrong with a stock glock is the pitiful sights they come with. I believe they are meant to fill the holes until you change them out for real sights.

Steel guide rods enable easy changeout of the recoil spring. Changing it on the stock Gen1-Gen3 guide rod is a suckfest. I'm not sure what the Gen4 Glock copy of the STI Recoilmaster is going to be like in terms of longevity, but Lance Jensen told me it was awesome to shoot with.
