Gingerbread house disposal?

So every year my wife and daughter make a gingerbread house. Sometimes they use a kit as a start and embellish, sometimes they start from scratch. They have made some incredible, award winning builds but every year they sit on the counter after Christmas until I throw them in the trash. And every year I feel like that is such a waste. Well this year I decided to dispose of the masterpiece in a much more enjoyable way. I think we have a new holiday tradition now.

Next year I'm going to work on getting it closer and still not get destroyed.
