I am currently using a bladetech doh with my glock 34 for USPSA. I have a CZ 75 SP01 shadow on order an am thinking about a holster. I have read a little about the ghost stinger. I would like to get some opinions on this holster in order to make a more informed decision as to whether to try a ghost stinger or get another blade tech. I would also like any opinions about the doh sting ray or try a black ice doh.

Everyone has different opinions, but I personally don't like the ghost holsters. I've seen too many guns come out of them and DQ's then passed out.

I prefer Triple Crown holsters or Blade Tech.

If you're wanting to use the CZ for production Division of USPSA, keep the following rule set in mind:
Appendix D4

20 - Holster restrictions

•Suitable for everyday use. “Race gun” type holster prohibited.
•May not be manufactured or cut lower than, and must cover the slide up to, ½” below the ejection port (belt slide “Yaqui” type holster exempt).
•Revolver holsters open no lower than halfway down the cylinder.

Blade tech Black ice is a good one. Matt Mink also has one on his sight made by a small company called RLN. I have both, both are production legal and both are great. The RLN has a little stiffer mount and doesn't move as much during the draw.

I dont see how a gun would come out of ghost stinger any easier than a BT, assuming the hardware was adjusted to a similar tension.

Another vote for RLN holsters (buy it from forum sponsor Automatic Accuracy)

I've used the BT DOH, a lot. It works, and everyone you buy is exactly the same.
2 things I dont like about it:
The DOH hanger is a weird shape and gets in the way. I know people who run this holster with customized hangers for this reason.
The holster is a 3 piece unit held together by more than a dozen itty bitty pieces of hardware...if you buy one, disassemble it, use lots of loctite, and keep spares handy.
Also, the BT usually needs shims installed to get the gun into a rules-compliant position. It tilts way too far out on most people.
The stingray attachment has these stupid belt shims that fall out (I've found a bunch of them on the ground at ranges like ussa)
You'll need some zip-ties to keep that thing solid and in place...or use their teklock attachment.

The RLN holster is solid, one piece of kydex. I swapped out the hardware for some adjustable knobs, but I'm picky that way...

my bad, I didn't pay attention to the stinger part. I thought he was talking about the ghost holsters I usually see that only hold on by the trigger guard.
