German Mauser or K31?

So I've officially made my money back on the C&R (at Henry's transfer fees, no less). What next? :)

Sad to say, my limit is usually about $300, so it looks like I won't be getting a 1903 anytime soon.

Pass up the next $300.00 deal and save the money then go buy the nice 03A from SARCO for $600.00 and you've stayed within your limit. ;) I love my C&R.

The way I see it, the $600-800 1903s have been out there since before I started collecting (got my first Mauser for that reason). They will be around at that price point. The lower price points are getting driven up - by scarcity, by political fears. See the price on Mosins rising - I can remember when they were $49 in shotgun news.

I've been thinking an Enfield or, as mentioned, a German Mauser (as opposed to my Yugo). What other WWII era bolt guns are there? I don't have the moolah to start looking at G43s (but a Garand is on the list).

Swedish mausers are fun and accurate rifles, plus they don't seem to kick to hard. You could also go for the longer Swiss rifles, K11, 96/11. I've got a Turk for sale! ;)
