Funny Gun Pictures

At this point in time I wouldn't either. But in 1971 there was no choice.

Training is training.
The more training can be to real life scenerios, the better it can be, but the insurance companies dictate what level a training facility can do.

I'm totally suprised that was in commifornia

yeah that is my point, that is not military training in 71....

Having been in the military and trained deploying soldiers marksmanship I agree with Dennis. Live fire has a real purpose (For people that are most likely going to be engaged in fire fights and gun battles)

If you are afraid of the "snap, crackle, pop" overhead then go set up targets on a silhouette range or pull targets in the pits during a palma match. That will at least introduce to the sound of bullets flying overhead and in a safe manner.

Now would I trust any joe to shoot from behind me? HELL NO!!!

There are a lot of training steps that are involved.

I'm much more perplexed by the ridiculous technique(s) than I am the fact that they are shooting from behind/next to each other.

sorry, i am not training anywhere where people are shooting with me downrange, not worth the risk, i will just "improvise" if i am ever in the situation, i am not going to have someone fire over my head while i drop to the ground for "training"
them guys are just Hollyweird.

They dont even do this in Military combat training, at least not as recent as 2008. Im fairly sure these people are all drinking peyote tea and writing these training regiments...f that s....excuse the harsh letters....
