I have a heard a story going around today about someone apparently pulling a 12 ft stingray out of Ft. Cobb lake. Has anyone else heard about this?

I would say it's a load of BS since they live in salt water.

I don't think giant freshwater rays are native to Oklahoma.

Not native to this area, and I can't imagine someone keeping one as a pet, and it getting that big.
But, who would of thought a 4' gator would be caught in Ponca city, Ok?
Don't have a link as it happened in the 60's when caymans could be bought at 5and dime stores. Somebody let it go evidently.
