I ended up with this tacticool operatorz vest in a trade. It appears to be unused.
They apparently dont make this same model anymore, but its similar to this one:

Its black mesh and its festooned with pockets, loops, and velcro, so you know it's serious.
This one is right handed...it has a shooting patch on the right shoulder.
Blackhawk lists their vest as one size fits all, hmm. This vest has a lacing system on the sides so it be expanded to fit big targets, or cinched down to fit smaller operators.
Most Blackhawk vest are in the $184 (!) range,
Buy mine for $60 shipped.
