Front Sight Focus-> shoot like a navy seal (?)

wondering if any one has tried this for pistol shooting. Cliff Notes: put a small white mark on your black front sight and focus on that.

you dont need paint to focus on your front sight. It helps though.

Just remember kids. Focusing on the front sight is important, but poor trigger control will still throw your shots off target.

You can't just touch the trigger, you have to press it.

I have black on black bomar on my 1911. You gurus think I should put a fibre optic front sight on the pistol or try the white-out first? Zeke showed me his fibre optic on his pistol last month and suggested it. I ask now cuz MC of AI will have my pistol soon to work on it.

I'm sold on the fiber optic front. I wouldn't go back to black on black sights, they get lost too easily.

see if a bit of white from a marker pen helps. what have you got to lose?
