Where: Heartland Outdoors

Signup: Sign up starts at 5:30pm

Match Type: Handgun, Tactical Action.

Stages: Four

Round Count: 72+

Equipment: Practical guns .22 or larger, carried in practical gear. Holster (required) must cover triggerguard. Two spare magazines or 2 speedloaders will get you thru any stage. No shoulder holsters or cross-draw rigs.

Rules: Basically, USPSA rules with TIME PLUS scoring.

Divisions:

Low Cap: = 10 rd mags or less. (you may load magazines down for this division)
High Cap: = 11 rd mags or more (load 'em up!)
Revolver: = any revolver, barrel length 2.26" or longer, any capacity.
PDLL: = Ported (like the Glock "C" models) Dot (like the Optima red dot) Lasers and gun-mounted lights.
SubCompact: Semi-autos with barrels 3.5" or shorter.
Snubby: 5-6 shot with 2.25" or shorter barrels.
OTHER: IPSC Open Division guns compete here.

.22 rimfire Rifle or pistol: Bring your .22/pistol caliber/suppressed rifle and/or your .22 pistol and have fun with them also

Prizes: YES! A $50 Heartland Outdoor Gift certificate!
Awarded randomly! Must be present to win. NO other regular match in OK awards a monetary prize!

Limited to first 50 shooters!

Cost: $20 for first gun, $10 for a second shoot

We WILL do a battlefield pickup this time! I'm expecting 20-25 shooters, so we can do a few things we couldn't with 57 shooters!

I will have a .44 magnum AND a .357 so the shooter can decide which one they want to shoot.

As an added bonus, _I_ will shoot a division of your choice. IE; you want to shoot revolver, but don't want to be the only one....tell me why you want to shoot against me and I very well might! We may be the only two shooters in that division, but it'll be fun. If there are only we two, I'll add a prize you can win....but only if you beat me.

Consider the gauntlet thrown!

I got an email from Barry Bryant of Heartland Outdoors saying these matches would resume in the future. We'll see.

There is 1 big fact here - there will no longer be matches by the old MD. Nothing you can do anymore. What's done is done. You started like 8 threads or posted in 8 different threads about it.

WE GOT IT - the match is over for now.

I posted in 3 existing threads to get the word out to the folks reading those threads the matches were cancelled.

I created another to discuss the situation.

As match time grew near, I thought one more that was titled appropriately would hopefully get someone's attention, thereby saving them a needless trip.

AFTER THAT, I REQUESTED YOU DELETE THEM ALL, since word was out as best I could do.

I am glad HO changed their mind and will offer matches in the future.

I wish them well in their endeavors.
