I call this photo "Generations"... with regards to SLR cameras:
LEFT: 1979 Canon AV-1, 35mm film SLR camera, 50mm lens, Aperture Priority camera (100% "old school" and fully manual).
CENTER: 2001 Canon EOS Rebel 2000, 35mm film SLR camera, 75-300mm zoom lens mounted, and a 28-80mm small zoom beside it. Incredible camera, P,A,S,M, etc... Do whatever you want, just like a digital SLR, but yet with 35mm film. Thanks goes to my son-in-law, who gave me his old camera from back when he took a photography course in high school and continued into college! Still works like a charm!
RIGHT: 2020 Nikon D3500 digital SLR, 35mm DX f/1.8G lens mounted, and the 18-70mm DX small zoom and 70-300mm DX zoom lens next to it. (The two zoom lenses came standard as a "kit" with the D3500, when I bought it at Richmond Camera).
Look at how much things have changed in each 20 year span!!
