Done it a bunch of times but I never photoed it. sorry. it ain't no big thing, just mark where the length needs to be and rout it out. Did one for the Mayor of 3-gun and quite a few others. KurtM

Yep use a carbide burr cutter and trun it SLOW, Most folks think that since a dremel CAN run high "Rs" it should. Go slow and then use a small sanding drum to finish it off. it isn't hard to do if at first you scibe some lines in the fore-end and STAY A BIT AWAY FROM THEM with the Dremel and then sand to fit. Soounds harder than it is. Takes around 10-15 minutes to do a real nice job. KurtM

I cheated and used a mill then went in and cleaned it up some with the carbide and sanding bits on the dremel.

the recess in the forearm is to short for the M2 barrel so I had to cut the recess back so the barrel would fit into the forearm ill post a picture of the two barrels tomorrow to show the difference its pretty much just to keep from having to buy a M2 forearm so i can use the shorter M2 barrel on my M1

No problem the barrels are interchangeable but you have to modify the forend on the M1 or buy a M2 forend so the M2 barrel will fit

Seems a small price to pay for barrel availability. M2 barrels are unobtanium and when you do find one it costs 50%+ of what a new gun costs. That's if you can find a new M2 to buy!

Yeah I ordered a M1 barrel and they sent me the M2 it was about 2/3 of what I paid for the M1 but that was the cheapest price I had found on them
