Anyone owned or have shot one of these that could get me a first hand personal opinion / review.
would be used for a personal defense home gun and something to train the wife with. What say you??

I had the 24/7 pro for awhile. No FTF's or any funtion problems. Just didn't fit my hand very well and the trigger pull is LOOOOONNG!!

Just a quick google search had them at 479-525. I'd say it's s good buy.

Did you get my PM on the ammo?

I have the 24/7 PRO DS in 9mm. I've had zero problems with it and I'm pushing about 1600 rounds. Check out Taurus Armed Granted there are a bunch of people who drank the Taurus cool-aid but still good info.

In double action the pull is long and heavy. In single action it has a long take up but a short reset. Double action is actually meant to be used as second strike.

I believe the OSS is supposed to have a better barrel and some other upgrades.

I gave $359.00 for my non-OSS model about a year ago so $379.00 sounds about right to me.

lol not until you said something Jesse. Thanks.
Heya MISph1t since you have had a similar Taurus can the trigger be adjusted for a smoother/shorter pull?

Not that I'm aware of. The OSS might be different though as it started out to be a gun for the military.

In single action it's actually pretty short. It's just the take up that is long with no resistance.

I don't notice it at all anymore. Of course this is the only pistol I've ever owned and spent any time shooting.

Oh, mags are expensive and holsters a little scarce. I use a CB Super Tuck with mine.

Oh, and if you decide on the Taurus, clean the Hell out of it BEFORE you shoot it. They use a butt load of packing grease.
