As a parent it was one of the greatest thrills and joys to let my kids shoot some of "Dad's guns", and watch them, while remembering the my own "firsts" as a kid. Here are some pics so yall can enjoy it too.

He hit the green bottle and it flipped up in the air, so he was pretty happy.

Was my wifes first time to try out my Garand, she liked it, and did well with it.

Thank you for sharing. I have no children of my own and these photos brought a huge smile to my face.

Yep, nothing better than teaching the next generation. I started Alexander when he was 5, and now at 13 he's already shot in 2 competitions, and always looks forward to going to the range. My daughter Bianca was also started at 5, and not as interested as her big brother, she still likes to go and shoot. Both now have their own guns(still in my safe), are very responsible with them. I can go to the range, and not shoot a single round, and just have fun watching them.

I thought the two older sons would be the ones to show interest, but as it turned out, the third kid has the bug. I think she was 15 in these shots. I kinda like it better this way.

She could hardly wait to fire the AR
