Keeps the slide racker out of the way of my thumbs when disengaging the thumb safety. Can always change it back if I don't like it.

Its one of mineJesse. The cocking handle was moved over so he wouldnt catch his thumb on it. Its one of those prize table slide with the novak cut already in it. Plus who ever said lefty was right. I started the build for me as a back up and Joe talked me out of it.His wife is running a open glock i built. Any pics of that one Joe?

I was kidding and thought he actually was a lefty. Now I'm confused. How do you use the slide racker when it's on the strong side?

I'm about to have an open gun built very similar to this setup and I was planning a slide racker but I ride the gun hi so I'm guessing ill lose a thumb if I do.

Is the Arredondo mount a lot better than a slide ride dot? My gun will spend most of its life shooting 3 gun not high flying fast paced USPSA.

I'm running the rts on my open guns . Coupled with a Cheely mount I think it's the fastest set up. Joe had a sts cmore so that's what I used. I'm running a 5 in slide, coned nowlin barrel with a steel 3 port comp. Running at 171 power factor it's just badass. I like the delta point mounted on a glock better than a sti/sv . I shoot a frame mounted dot better than the slide mounted.
