Fire at OKC Gun Club

Future ideas being proposed are expanding the Benchrest range and moving/updating the plinking range.

How do we request stuff like this? I would live to see a long range area out to at least 600 yards with Steel targets available.

Can anyone show up for the board meetings? Or do you need to request to just be there to listen quietly?

A longer distance benchrest range would be great! A better plinking range or a pistol range other than the Bullseye range would be nice too. Being able to actually use more ranges would be nice.

Last intel was some one smoking while posting or retrieving targets at the 100 yd berm flicked the butt over the berm and it took off after a few minutes went by..

That is just retarded.

I'm sure "some one" could be easily identified in this case and I wonder if the club and/or fire departments will hold them responsible. Note, I am not asking who it was, nor should their identity be posted here.

What normally happens in a case like this to a butt flicker that sets off a wildfire? Are they responsible for restitution of the cost to fight the fire?
