Hi joepistol. I also just made it here

I like the sporty chopper. Likely a vintage pic?? I still ride, but sadly not near as much as I once did. Not sure how I'd feel not having a thumper, or 2, in the garage

Pic was taken about 41 yrs ago (!)
Sporty belonged tom my neighbor..Steve .He loaned it to me for a few days while I was visiting my parents
& a friend took the pic when I rode it over to show him the bike. When I returned to So.Calif.,
(where I was living @ the time ) I bought my brand new 1979 FXEF shortly thereafter.
Still own & ride that '79FXEF..+ a bunch of others,( inc. a few few thumpers)
Welcome switchback, to the site..

Cool pic. No on the switchback. I never even thought about that! I am on a dyna tho, a fxdb with factory 103 motor. Well sorta factory, I'm a hotrod at heart. Mostly rode baggers before this. Now going back decades I've ridden panheads, flathead and shovels. Never owned a knuckle. Glad you're here we have a lot in common
Love the socal sporty!!!!!

Actually, the Sporty was here in Michigan..
I own a bunch of old bikes, besides my HD's.
.a couple of sport bikes, a few dirt bikes, a sport tourer & a couple of old 1200 Goldwings.
Kinda like my firearms..if 1 or 2 are good, a few more are better.

Ha. I agree. The older simpler gold wings are , to me, attractive machines. But sadly I've never owned one. Last few years I've downsized most things. Fewer firearms, only 1 motorcycle and a fixed income
