So let's start with kiddo she got to shoot my ruger 22/45 mark3(she was unsure after the first shot but then can back and emptied a mag. Grinning ear to ear all the while) but the thing is to heavy (I had to hold it up for her) for her she's 4 btw. I was considering the following options:
1. buy her a cricket .22 $99 (I might be able to swing this)
2. Buy a tac light upper $280 (yikes)
3.sale/trade my ruger (my first gun) for a lighter more her sized .22
Wifey: (shh don't tell her I mentioned her here) she's learning but I do not think I'm the best person to teach her. Not because I'm not capable but I don't really feel like having more holes then the target. Also if I find someone to teach her, anyone know where I can get targets made in my likeness this seems to improve here accuracy
Me: I shoot uspsa and would like to be better. But I've run into a few snags. Money. But more so is, I practice but one of my concerns is maybe my practice is incorrect. I'm looking for something along the line of guided practice. Or even just some critique. Also the place to practice. You can only do so much at a "square" range I need somewhere I can set up a few targets and run through drills that's not going to break the bank and is close to the blanchard/norman area.
Any ideas suggestion comments?
Almost forgot. I would also like to have my daughter shoot in a range enviroment too. One where she can see over the bay tables preferably.
