Are exposed turrets good or bad for 3 gun? I would not think that they would be needed and they could possibly get turned while moving. What is everyone opinion? I am trying to decide between the Viper PST and the Viper HS.

Get the HS. There's no reason to have uncapped turrets on a 1-4.

I did twist the elevation turret on my PST pulling it out of the bag or something last weekend. I boned the stage pretty good because of it.

Minus that little thing, the scope is t!ts! They must have got the hint and invented the HS.

That's what I was thinking, but wanted to get the collective opinion of the site. Is the illuminated reticle really as dim as I've heard? I think I'm sold on the Viper HS for $455 shipped.

Yep, illum is not noticeable until low light conditions.

That's a helluva lot of scope for $465. Get the MOA reticle.

Never shot a match with a Tac30...but to me, yeah.

I like the PST as much as the TR24. Clarity, FOV, and eye relief are comparable.
