I know what you mean.
Amazing what those bullets will do though. Shot a diller with one in the yard. Texas heart shot. It was a mess to clean up. Think I'll stick with .22LR in the future.

yeah that is one of those things that I know it's wrong to laugh at but I still seem to get a chuckle when a pest just pops into meat confetti.

It was a cool video, ruined by all the sheep who commented on it...

I gotta try some of those out though

Some of the comments are great:

"Can someone tell me WHY? I mean, Jesus, is it THAT HARD kill prairie dogs that you need to EVISCERATE them? They're not the T-1000 or anything."

You guys don't understand the tree hugger mentality. Shoot them but make it like a hollywood movie where there is just a tiny red dot at the entrance wound.
Drop a little gunpowder in the wound, and "cauterize" it.

Thats what they do in the movies, so thats got to be true?

I wish barnes would make a 125gr varmint grenade for a .308 there just really aren't any good varmint bullets for .308

I'll never understand the allure of prairie dog shooting. I'm not condemning it any longer, as I found the stalking and shooting of armadillos with my .45 this winter very cathartic after a very stressful day at work. That is one animal that does'nt give up the ghost too easily, unless you whack it with a varmint grenade or any rifle like a .375 H&H.

I am thumbs up on the Varmint Grenade in .243.
