I'd read / heard that a good BCG has a lot to do with how well an AR functions.
After I watched this informative video found on another website, (from a youtube posting.) about how to check a BCG,
I now understand much better the role of the parts of the BCG. It'd be nice to have all the gauges he uses..
but unless you have or work on a lot of AR-15's, probably not practical to own them all.
Would sure be nice to know someone that did have them..LOL
Had never given much thought to all the dimensions on a bolt and carrier.
This video measures the parts, & describes the problems that can be found while doing a BCG autopsy.
I found it very well done, & informative. Worth watching..IMO.
