South Carolina Guns Across America
an effort to get as many people at every state capitol Saturday Jan 19th in a peaceful protest against more gun laws.
the site on facebook says 86 people are going, pityful.
lets all go and then stop by PSA, not that we can buy anything.
Nutnfancy on u tube wants to see 50,000 at each capitol. yeah, me too but people are too lazy. lets just take our guns to the scrap yard. at least get a few bucks before we are told to bend over.
im taking my wife to work so ill have the car. if Andy doesnt go, i havent asked him yet, ill have 3 seats.
come on lets hear it. who will go? what have you got to do thats more important.

At each state capitol nationwide, at 12 noon, a group called Guns Across America has organized a pro-2A rally.
I plan to swing by the one in Columbia, since I'm only a few minutes away and see if anyone actually shows up.

check facebook and there is a list for all states. SC has only 86 people saying they are going but im not a facebook person so maybe there will be more like me not regerstered .
it would be a good chance to show support. lets keep this thread on top to make sure everyone sees it.
facebook says no carry on statehouse grounds. just fyi. seems defeatist to me.

i thought of that. i plan to find somewhere obscure and go for a walk.

Not sure if they are going to do it on the State House steps or not. There a HUGE sidewalk area on Gervais street where Main intersects in front of the Capitol where people usually gather. If you're on the sidewalk with a CWP it won't matter.

check the facebook. i saw a map that shows were we are allowed to gather. if its on the grounds ill bet cops will be looking for people carrying and that will make us look bad.

Oh if it's an INCH off the sidewalk, I don't recommend anyone risking it by carrying. Don't need something making legal gun owners look bad. The cops were standing around WAITING for the Occupy people to screw up...and they did; got booted out immediately.

I just went to the Facebook page...They said the meeting would be on the North side of main Street...From 12:00 till 3:00...That don't tell me anything...
