All of the Mission stuff is marked down 50% at the Lowes in Moore. They had a crapton of it too. At $16 it's kind of pricey but it's definitely worth the $8. Stock up for next year.

I have 2 of them and they are they most amazing Black Magic Voodoo thing I have used. I have no clue how it works, but you can put hot hot water on them and in like 3 mins they are super cool to the touch. I was hesitant at first too like most infomercial type stuff until I saw one in person.

They work ok i bought one to use while brush hogging helps keep me cool, and I pull it up over my nose and it works good as a mask to keep from breathing dust in.

I've seen some folks wearing them at matches. Do they really work?
I don't buy the magic claims. It's just a normal cooling effect of a wet cloth. But the are pretty large, they don't get stiff when they dry out, and they do take a bit to dry unlike say t-shirt material. They block the sun well too.

I bought one of the towels earlier this spring. it works pretty good. Soak it in water, wring it out a little, then give it a good snap. It generally feels cool to the touch for around 20-30 minutes before needing more water. My only complaint is that for a big guy like me, the cloth isn't long enough to get around my neck like I would like. I have a 23" neck. I have thought about going back & getting the head covering. It can be used in several different configurations.

Something I recommend staying away from is the 'Frog Togs' sold at Walmart. For cooling they were absolutely great. Held water for a long time and kept me cool. But when they dry out, they are just like a dried out Chamois. You can't fold it.. it is stiff as a board. If you fold it before it dries our, it can start to smell and get holes at the corners of the folds.

EXACTLY. I bought one of them and thought it was too thick. It is just like a chamois, like you said. Dont buy
