after looking for years, it seems that DW has released a large batch of the famed 715 revolver and the kits as well( 3 barrels 2" 4" and 6"). I have to scratch the itch it seems.
I like revolvers a lot. usually shoot one of my Rugers. This 715 is a different animal all together (it seems) I love the looks and the reviews I have read are stellar

I have a new 715 for about 1 1/2 years now. It was a blemish and I got a phenomenal deal on it. I love it. IMO, the double action is a bit heavy but very smooth. I love it. Only downside is the lack of aftermarket grip options. I also picked up a Monson, MA 44. Despite the constant "older is better " you hear constantly, the new one is just as good, if not better IMO. I think you're going to love it.

you are correct, I was wrong-- 4" 6 " and 8" barrels liste d on their site.

you plumbers are such a smart group. no wonder I wanted to be one...

I have six Dan Wesson revolvers in 22LR, 32 magnum, 357 Magnum, 375 SuperMag, 41 Magnum, and 445 SuperMag. They are all incredibly accurate, easy to smith when necessary, and will handle any reasonable handload. The 41 has taken two Idaho mule deer and the 32 has accounted for several dozen rock chucks. I used to shoot the 22 in IHMSA field pistol and it shoots a lot better than I can hold.
