Hey guys and gals,

Just got my new grips for my 1911, and I have to say they are AMAZING. I cannot over capitalize that statement. They fit perfectly on my RIA 1911 GI, and look really good to boot.

I have to sand down a few of the edges because they were a little sharp for my liking, but that took all of about 30 seconds.

And you know what the best part of it all was? They were only 30 bucks. Awww yeah.

Pics are attached. Here are the ones I got in case you can't tell from the pics (http://duragrips.com/-strse-226/Government-1911-GRID-dsh-LOK-Grips/Detail.bok)

If you are in the market for some new grips, give them a look. They get an A+ from me.

Those are some cool grips. I would also like to know if they are very "grippy". Are they G10?

I love that word.........."grippy"

I don't know if they are G-10, but they are fairly "grippy". Not too grippy or sandpaper-y, but it's pretty good even with sweaty hands.

It you're at the match on Sunday, you can handle it and see how you like 'em :)
