Yes they are. But, you probably have the Shiek to thank for that one. I think there were over 1 million plus paid out during that tournament. I thought I had read that Derrick won $150K for the first place finish but the pay out schedule shows $200K. I think that the next best thing on payouts in Sporting Clays is the PSCA. They are paying $100K per tournament, $15K for a first place finsh. The total purse for 2014 was $435,000.00. It will be interesting to see if that holds up in the future. I had heard that the 2015 schedule was due out today. Qualification rounds have already been shot for 2015. Should be a good season.
