OK, my labs devour everything, most of the bones that are supposed to last a couple of weeks, last 1 to 2 hours, rawhide maybe an hour, etc.. elk antlers take them a while to eat and they love them, but they are EXPENSIVE... any other suggestions like elk antlers, but cheaper??

nylabone and more excercise.
My dogs chew like hell whenever I neglect them and dont work em much,.

My Australian Shepherds eat and elephant dung Nylabones in about 30 minutes. The only thing that is natural I can find that they can't east and elephant dung in 30 minutes is a cow hock (knuckle) bone. They will chew on them for days

The beef rib bones splinter pretty bad.

they get exercised every day!!!! they are far from neglected, they don't chew unless i give them something, it is just when i do..

Mental stimulation is as important as physical exercise. Not pointing fingers, just throwing it out there.

my wife trains them constantly, we have no kids and trust me these dogs get a ton of attention, exercise and training, they weigh 65 lbs, they are just labs, they only chew on what they like, and when we give them things like rawhide, etc.. they just eat them in 30 minutes, even if we have done 3 hours of training and exercise... they don't chew on anything they aren't supposed to..

My britt only chews on the squeeky toys that my wife gets for him. He digs out the squeeker.........kills it, and walks away knowing there is one less thing to annoy him. :D

He then continues on with his goal of killing every gopher and mole, while treeing the occasional squirrel that dares invade his territory.

Im sure with you as their owner, they do. Just wanted to mention it to our readers.!

Ill never do the bone thing; too many horror stories of perforated puppy innards

All my dogs get bones as I butcher whole cows to feed them, I havent had a bone fatality yet but Ive herd of one or two, Almost of all of them have been Lab X's and I'm carefull with my LabX's I make sure they dont get smaller bones like vertabre. but the other dogs dont seem to worry and just pick the meat off them.

if you want your dog to have a treat that lasts and stimulates their brain, try the puzzle toys in which you put some peanut butter. i can't recall who makes them, sorry.

Yes Kong and the knock offs. There are even treat tossers you can set a timer on how often they dispense a treat / toy.
